In mid August, Billy got back form Skipnes, where he spent two months working in a fishing station/hotel with the Working Guest Norway programme. Here’s what he said about his experience and an amazing slideshow with the fantastic pictures he took while there:

My work experience in Skipnes (Norway) was truly worthwhile. Not only I learnt to be a barman, a waiter a cleaner and a laundry man, I manage to meet and made a number of good friends, as well as finding out about the Norwegian culture. The scenery was great as I was given the chance to travel around, and see life as it really is. The decision I made this summer is a decision I am really proud of. It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend everyone with the desire to experience something different, something special, to consider this unique opportunity. |
