Overview
Leonardo da Vinci EUvision is a fully-funded, 2-week, European internship programme.
It is the European community's vocational training programme and aims to improve the quality of training provision, develop the skills and mobility of the workforce, stimulate innovation and enhance the competitiveness of European industry.
The programme offers you a professional internship, accommodation and flights in return for your full commitment to the project.
This year's Leonardo da Vinci programme is subtitled EUvision.

Location
Project life and Photos
- Pre-departure
On application, a nominated co-ordinator will assist you through the application process and help prepare you for your internship in Europe. Your co-ordinator is there to answer any of your questions and to ensure that you fully understand what is involved in the programme.
- Induction
On arrival, the Host Organisation will arrange an airport transfer to take you to your accommodation. During your first week you will receive a cultural induction, which will help you to settle into your new home. You may also be required to attend interviews for your internship.
- Internship
Internships are not set up beforehand. Once we received your signed contract we will start looking for your placement according to your profile and request. Each participant will undertake a 2-week internship in their choice of industry. Your internship will be allocated depending on your qualifications, your work history and your aspirations. Your internship is unpaid. However your employer may choose to pay you some pocket money as well.
- Mentoring & Monitoring
The Host Organisation is there to support you throughout the programme and ensure that you maximise your experience. You are requested to complete a series of simple reports.

- Apply Online and follow Steps 1 to 4
- Once we have received all your documents, your application will be screened and successful applicants will be invited to interview at our offices in South-East London.
- Successful applicants will be submitted to the Leonardo da Vinci National Agency and the Host Organisation for approval.
- Please note that places are allocated on a first come first served basis (subject to interview). We therefore recommend that you submit your full application as early as possible.
Participants on the programme will also need to download and keep the Leonardo Training Agreement and Medical Information Form for their records.
Flights, transportation and visas
Each participant is provided with a return international flight to his or her destination. Flights generally leave from London-based airports.
Dates and duration
The next start date for Leonardo da Vinci 2-week internships to Dublin is March 2013.
Safety and insurance
You are required to obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before departure. This free card entitles the holder to state-provided medical treatment within the country they are visiting. Additionally, you will be provided with private travel insurance cover.
Eligibility
If you can tick all of the following boxes, then you are eligible to apply:
- Aged 18+ on the departure date
- A citizen of the European Union, legal resident in the UK
- Job seekers or graduates
- Able to commit 2 weeks
- Able to attend an interview in London
- Open and flexible
Accommodation and Food
Shared accommodation is provided for all participants. Depending on the destination, you may be living in a shared apartment or with a host family. Meals are usually not provided, although if your internship is in a hotel, you may also receive meals. We will provide some living allowance in order to help towards your stay where the accommodation is on self-catering basis.
