At Twin we take our responsibilities to protecting the environment seriously!
Each time we fly, greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) are released into the atmosphere. The effect of these emissions on global climate change will be the biggest environmental impact of any overseas trip.
Did you know that a return flight to Johannesburg in South Africa creates 2.71 tonnes of CO2 per person!
We can however, take actions to offset this pollution by supporting sustainable energy and reforestation projects, and Twin has partnered with Climate Care to do just that.
When applying for a volunteer placement, you are invited to take responsibility for your C02 emissions and make a contribution of £20 to Climate Care.
