Welcome to Twin Work And Volunteer! We are so glad you are here. Who are we you say? (Straight to the point aren’t you?) Well - we don’t muck about either, because we understand it’s competitive out there (in that ‘real world’ place), and we are here to help you, on every step of your journey.

Yep that’s right, our friendly team are fully dedicated to helping you expand your horizons and your employability through volunteer, travel and work experiences.

Here at Twin we’ve undergone a bit of a change lately (quite similar to the whole caterpillar/butterfly thing), we were known as WAVA (Work And Volunteer Abroad), dedicated to offering travellers meaningful, stimulating and responsible travel experiences around the world. We are now (drumroll please) part of the Twin Group - an award-winning work experience, internship, and education provider.

That’s all lovely to say, but what does this mean for you? Well, we're still responsible, meaningful and stimulating, but now we’re even more focused on making you stand out from the crowd! Our forces have combined to offer you the best opportunity to excel in your chosen field, no matter what stage of life you are at. We offer a wide range of opportunities, including:

Since May 2011 we have been a member of the Year Out Group – The YOG are an association dedicated to promoting and accrediting year out programs in alignment with their strict code of conduct. This not only gives you peace of mind when considering one of our programs, but the knowledge that we are part of a wider global travelling community which will support you wherever you may be in the world. The change from WAVA to Twin has not affected our commitment to the principles of the YOG and we still have a 24-hour support structure for anyone who books one of our gap year or volunteering programmes.

Everything we offer adds proven value to your CV and makes you more attractive to an employer, meaning these skills will actually help get you a job, not just another certificate for your fridge. Our consultants carefully match every opportunity to the participant to ensure everyone gets the most out of the placement. We really pride ourselves on giving you the personal touch.
