Nepal is bordered both by Tibet and India and their influences are readily apparent in the lively culture and traditions of this enchanting country.

Nepal is an extremely affordable country compared to many. If you stay in low-end accommodation and eat like the Nepalese you can get by on next to nothing. If you want to sleep more comfortably and eat in restaurants, you are still only looking at a maximum of £20 per day. If you chose to pay for guided tours, which is advisable for most locations, you are looking at doubling this, though some guided tours last more than a day, so should still not set to back too much.
